The trader score

One number from five public measures of an account’s last thirty days and its record, so a ranking and a share card say something a screenshot cannot.

Every account among the largest on Hyperliquid that holds a position is scored every six hours from two public reads: its portfolio record (account value and cumulative P&L, sampled through the day) and its newest two thousand fills. The score is the sum of five parts, out of 100.

  • Consistency, 25 points. The share of the last thirty days that ended with a profit, among the days that had a result at all; scaled down until 10 such days exist.
  • Sharpe, 25 points. Each day’s P&L over the account value, averaged and divided by its standard deviation, annualized. A Sharpe of 3 earns every point; under five active days there is none.
  • Drawdown, 25 points. The deepest fall of cumulative P&L from its peak over the thirty days, as a share of the most the account held in those days (an account that withdrew its profits is not rewarded for a small balance). A 30% fall earns nothing; a fall past everything held reads as 100%.
  • Tenure, 15 points. Days since the account’s record begins; 180 days earn every point.
  • Result, 10 points. The thirty-day P&L over the account value at the start; +30% earns every point, a loss none.

Beside the score, the record shows the win rate of closing fills (none under 10 closes), the share of volume in stock perps and the period those fills cover. Deposits and withdrawals move the account value, so the parts read the P&L record wherever both exist. A high score is a measured past: it is no forecast, and copying a trader copies their risk.

The same numbers are on every trader’s page and on the record card a trader can share, with the wallet address, so anyone can check them here. The API serves them as score in GET /v1/traders.
