Data API

Five endpoints, served as static files beside the app and rewritten about once a minute. No key, no sign-up. For live liquidations, both heatmaps for every market and the largest positions, the Afterbell API has a free plan and paid ones, with a key from one wallet signature.

Markets

GET /api/v1/markets.json

Every stock perp on the xyz exchange and every crypto perp on Hyperliquid’s main exchange: symbol, Hyperliquid’s coin name, the exchange it trades on (dex is xyz or hyperliquid), name, group, home market with its city and time zone, the exchange listing, max leverage, the price at the last home close, and the after-hours summary. Crypto never closes, so its home, close and after-hours fields are null.

One market

GET /api/v1/markets/{SYMBOL}.json

The summary plus the deployer’s description, the last twelve close-to-open moves with their prices and times, and the five largest long and short positions among the biggest Hyperliquid accounts.

Funding

GET /api/v1/funding.json

Every market’s funding now, from the highest yearly rate down, with its mark price, open interest and 24-hour volume in dollars and its 24-hour change. Rates are fractions: a fundingYearly of 0.1095 is 10.95% a year, the hourly rate times 8,760. Positive means longs pay shorts.

Earnings

GET /api/v1/earnings.json

The next report for every New York-listed stock perp with one in the next ten weeks, soonest first: date, time (before-open, after-close or null), the consensus EPS forecast and the fiscal quarter. From Nasdaq’s earnings calendar, read every 12 hours.

Sessions

GET /api/v1/sessions.json

Each home market’s state now, the time of its next change and last close, and every session for the next seven days, marked regular, pre or post.

Use

The prices in funding.json are a snapshot up to a minute old; for live prices read Hyperliquid’s own info API. Credit Afterbell where you show the data. The data is provided as is, without any warranty, and may be late or wrong.
