After-hours moves

How far each perp moves while its home market is shut, measured from its own prices.

For every market with a home exchange, Afterbell takes the last 45 days of the perp’s 15-minute candles on Hyperliquid and walks the home market’s calendar.

  • Moved while shut: the perp’s price at the next regular open against its price at the previous regular close.
  • First 30 minutes: the perp’s price 30 minutes after that open against its price at the open.
  • Average move while shut: the mean of the absolute moves, so a rise and a fall count alike.

Prices at a moment are the close of the last 15-minute candle that finished by it. These are perp prices, not exchange quotes, and they include any funding drift. Holidays are known for New York through 2027 and for Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong through 2026; other markets use regular weekday hours, so an unlisted holiday can show as a long gap.

The figures refresh every six hours. They describe the past and promise nothing about the next open.
