Risk disclosure
Perpetual futures with leverage can lose more than you expect, faster than you expect.
- Leverage. A move against you of one over your leverage, less maintenance margin, liquidates the position. At 10x that is under 10%.
- The open. Stock perps reprice when their home market opens, and pre-market prints can be thin or wrong. Gaps of several percent are routine; larger ones happen.
- Perps are not shares. You own no stock, receive no dividends and have no claim on the company. The price follows an oracle the deployer runs, and funding is paid or received every hour.
- Independent deployers. The xyz markets are deployed on Hyperliquid by trade.xyz, not by Hyperliquid, and neither is connected to Afterbell. Their rules, oracles and limits can change.
- Software. Hyperliquid, the deployer, your wallet and Afterbell can all fail. Keep the trading key to this browser and revoke it on Hyperliquid if the device is lost.
- Where you live. Leveraged derivatives are restricted or regulated in many countries, including the European Union and the United States. Whether you may trade them is yours to check.
Nothing on Afterbell is investment advice or a recommendation to trade.
